Saxon Motorcycle Company Partners With New Rebel Motorcycles, New Rebel To Be Exclusive European Distributor
Casa Grande, Arizona - July 2006 – Representatives
from Saxon Motorcycle Company today announced a partnership
with New Rebel Motorcycles, doing business as
Saxon Motorcycles Europe, a company based in the Netherlands,
to distribute Saxon Motorcycles throughout Europe.
New Rebel Motorcycles, founded in January 2006 by Frank
Vermeulen and Rinke Andringa of the Netherlands, was
created specifically to provide the European market with
custom, American style motorcycles. The partners chose
Saxon because the philosophy of New Rebel was so similar
to Saxon’s. “We chose Saxon because they
produce a great looking motorcycle at an exceptional
value. In addition, their philosophy, professionalism,
and strategy matches ours perfectly. Saxon’s focus
on quality and customer service makes them a standout
in the industry and a great partner for entering an entirely
new market.” Said Rinke Andringa.
Saxon Motorcycles Europe wants to challenge people to
escape from their “ordinary” lives and create
freedom and fun on the road by providing custom, American
Motorcycles and related lifestyle items to the European
market. Saxon Motorcycle Company will be one of the first
American, custom motorcycle manufacturers to be granted
EU Type Approval, meaning Saxon Motorcycles will be legal
in all European Union countries. Saxon Motorcycles Europe
plans to begin marketing the Saxon line in dealerships
throughout the EU beginning in October 2006
“Saxon Motorcycle Company’s partnership
with New Rebel Motorcycles allows Saxon the ability to
expand into a new market and strengthen our brand. We
are very excited to be working with the team at New Rebel
Motorcycles. They’ve done their homework and have
a solid plan to develop the Saxon brand and support our
customers in Europe.” Said David Schwam, Vice President
of Sales and Marketing.
Saxon Motorcycles Europe will initially offer two of
Saxon’s models for European distribution, the flagship
chopper Warlord and the long and low Firestorm. Both
models come standard with a right side drive transmission,
two-year unlimited mileage warranty, 96” S&S
engine, swingarm suspension, and have both have EU Type
Approval. Saxon Motorcycles Europe can be seen online
at www.SaxonMotorcycles.eu. Dealer inquiries are welcome. |
